Comparing 2 SRB series models
SRB Quark SRB Quark
Second Generation

SRB Quark was designed for pilots flying Hirobo XRB or any other counter coaxial helicopters. It had single blade rotor head, which flies more similar to larger RC helicopters. With Hirobo original (Japanese patent No.4249801, international patent pending) design rotor head, this model is the most stable and easy to control among similar sized models. Flying single rotor helicopters require more skill and practice than counter coaxial models. This model is ideal for pilots trying to develop more skill to fly more advanced models.

Based on SRB Quark, SRB Quark SG is designed to Despite its size and ease of handling, SG can fly almost like larger and more advanced outdoor models. Equipped with collective pitch control, improved battery, gyro, tail motor, and idle up function, SG can now fly some acrobatics such as loops, rolls, and inverted flights. After you have mastered XRB or SRB, try and enjoy SRB Quark SG.
Main diference
Simple and easy setting
Main unit
More advanced setting possible for expert pilots
Included in main unit
Gyro
Mounted on back of the helicopter. Higher performance gyro with lesser effects from heat.
Red LED lights up while helicopter has proper rpm.
LED
LED moved to the back of helicopter. It is easier to check flight or battery condition during flight.
Fixed pitch. Hirobo original design rotor head with very stable control for beginner practice.
Rotor head
Collective pitch. The re-designed rotor head can handle more windy condition and acrobatic flights.
Simple linkage for easier maintenance.
Swash mechanism
SWM (ccpm) control used for more advanced models.
Foam blades for safer flight. They can minimize crash damage for indoor flight.B
Main blades
Made of foam, but re-designed harder main blades for handling acrobatic flights.
2 cell (7.4V 480mAh) 10 minutes flight with 1 hour charge.
Battery
3 cell (11.1V 480mAh) 8-10 minutes flight with 1 hour charge.
Shaft drive with carbon shaft.
Tail motor
Direct drive tail motor with tail mounted motor. Motor can turn more silently and efficiently.
Recommended
Pilots with coaxial model (Hirobo XRB) experience
Ideal
customers
Pilots with XRB/SRB experience. Second model for pilots with larger outdoor models.
The most stable design among single rotor helicopters
Stability
Very stable. Due to collective pitch, SG is affected less from ground effect.
Indoor, some outdoor (less than 3m/sec) wind
Flight area
Larger indoor space, outdoor (less than 5m/sec wind recommended)
